My Approach
I believe effective therapy is rooted in both compassion and science. In my work with clients, I emphasize the integration of current psychological research with an individualized understanding of each client’s unique experiences, strengths, needs, and priorities.
As a therapist, I am deeply committed to continued learning— regularly reviewing current research, pursuing advanced training, and staying informed about emerging, evidence-based interventions. Mental health care is constantly evolving, and I see it as my responsibility to grow alongside it. Translating that knowledge into meaningful, practical support for my clients is at the heart of my work.
I value collaboration and transparency, and I approach therapy as a shared process in which we work together to understand what is contributing to your concerns and what will be most helpful moving forward. My approach also emphasizes flexibility and responsiveness- allowing therapy to evolve as your needs, goals, and circumstances change.
